Playin in the Sun

Dominic - I wrote the first verse to this song one afternoon after watching my neighbors kids playing in the sprinkler all day. It reminded me of the early years in Texas when we would wander through the woods and creeks for hours and hours with absolutely no agenda or anything to accomplish, just daydreaming and enjoying nature. As I tackled the second verse I liked the idea of having a cute ladyfriend to enjoy the day with...ahhh the innocence of youth.....but naturally by the time the third verse rolls around all my daydreaming and wandering has gotten me in a lil trouble, turns out my ladyfriends got a manfriend of her own......its gonna make for a fun music video!!:) Actually... Wait, turns out the third verse was floating around in Aarons head and combined, our two minds created “Playin in the sun”. Lots of lyrical credit on the other verses as well to Aaron. I started them and he finished them it turns out. (thanks for the reminder bud)....this could get dangerous on future albums...:)
